We offer you an escape, away from the hustle and bustle of the historic center. A little corner of nature, not so small since it is 10 hectares.
To do this, you just need to follow the channel to the lock, it is not a yellow brick path, but your steps will take you along the Promenade de la Jetée. Then, you will see a large gate, go through it and enter the Garden of Personalities.

This setting, located along the Seine estuary, is dedicated to the great historical figures of Honfleur.
It is dotted with green boats in which rest the busts of famous people, children from the Honfleur region, artists, sailors, navigators...

But who can we meet in this extraordinary garden?

At the center of these plant boats, we find an impressive and varied gallery which takes us through the centuries, to discover the history of Honfleur and its most illustrious inhabitants.

Little quiz: you have to find the intruder 😉

The painters : Eugène Boudin, Claude Monet, Johan Barthold Jongkind, Leonardo da Vinci, Léon Leclerc, Alexandre Dubourg

A place full of life

The garden is a peaceful place where you can relax for a moment of relaxation.
It is not uncommon to see a container ship slowly going up the Seine, skimming the pier, which makes us want to slow down too.
But it is also a very lively place at times and several events are organized there, notably the Musical Picnic

The Musical Picnic takes place every last Sunday of June, it is a day of entertainment and music for the whole family.
Organized by the Tourist Office, the Erik Satie Music School and Daniel Pillon's collective of artists, it is an opportunity to make the garden resonate with music and laughter around a new theme each year , while enjoying a picnic with your feet in the grass.
