So it's decided, we'll take you to the maritime city and we'll offer you a delicious program.
You are very lucky, you will be able to experience a day in the pretty town of Honfleur. Over one day you will discover all the nuances of light and colors that follow one another in the Seine Estuary and understand why the city has inspired artists so much for over 200 years...
And a little extra advice, don't hesitate to stay until nightfall, the atmosphere is simply magical, between the reflections on the port and the shadows in the medieval streets.
1- Explore the historic center

Every street corner offers you an opportunity to marvel and take out the cameras.
- Obligatory passage around our iconic Old Bassin, its lively quays, its tall colorful houses, its terraces, its carousel… in short, the very heart of the maritime city.
- Then explore the Sainte Catherine district and visit its magnificent wooden church which sits in the middle of the square of the same name. If you are lucky there will be the market and its inimitable atmosphere (Wednesday and Saturday mornings).
- And finally get lost in the old streets of the medieval city, stroll through the many small boutiques, local product stores, craft workshops and other tea rooms.

Walking and strolling is irreplaceable but to learn more about the history and abundant heritage of Honfleur, we advise you to book a guided tour with the Tourist Office.

2- A little restaurant
A break is in order... it's hard to resist the call of the many terraces and small restaurants that abound in our beautiful town of Honfleur.
Our advice on this, don’t resist… succumb without feeling guilty!
You will find a very varied offering here, from traditional brasseries to gourmet cuisine, including fish specialties and other local products always featured on the menus of our Honfleur chefs... so treat yourself.
3- A family leisure activity
If you have come as a tribe, we offer you a selection of activities and discoveries to share.
Moments to experience together, to leave your head full of memories...
- The Naturospace, to evolve among butterflies and tropical birds
- Boat trips in the estuary because we really want to go under the Pont de Normandie
- La Mora, to learn more about this boat of William the Conqueror and the Vikings
- The Legendr application, because virtual reality is just super cool and seeing Honfleur with its medieval fortifications still in place.
3bis – A cultural leisure activity
Your thing is culture, you are an absolute fan of heritage, and you can't resist soaking up some history.
So we also have that on hand, no worries 😉
- The Lieutenancy, to learn everything about the maritime history of Honfleur and also to climb on the terraces overlooking the port
- La Forge, because it is a fabulous universe, that of the house/workshop of the artist Florence Marie
- The Boudin Museum, to see the city in painting, now that we have seen the sites in real life
- The Maisons Satie, because we didn't know that Erik Satie was born in Honfleur and we really like the piano
4- To extend this day
After all these great adventures, it’s up to you to decide how to end this charming day in Honfleur in style…
We suggest:
- A snack break in a tea room, an ice cream along the port, a pancake or a waffle... in short, it's sweet treat moment
- Sitting on the terrace, you're more at aperitif time and pancakes aren't your thing. Choose along the port or in one of the small squares of the medieval city
- You really want to stay longer, you are so good here ;). We're not going to contradict you and we'll even help you find a restaurant for the evening...
- You can no longer leave, you have decided to stay and sleep. You need to find a place to stay for the night, we definitely have accommodation that suits you…
