Well… we prefer to warn you from the start… 2 hours won’t be enough 😉
We promise you, however, that you will really want to come back very quickly!
Honfleur is a pretty, authentic town that can be explored by taking your time and the cobbled streets are not ideal for visiting at a leisurely pace, be careful of your ankles.
1
The Old Basin
Our absolute must-have, our iconic symbol…
Obviously you have to make a trip to the port, a stroll along the quays, a little break on the terrace (it's hard to resist you'll see), an artisanal ice cream to taste, a ride on the carousel... here time stands still A little.
2
Sainte Catherine church and its suburb
Do not under any circumstances miss this jewel of Honfleur heritage!
The Sainte Catherine church is simply unique, it is the largest wooden church in France and it has a bell tower separate from the rest of the building. Its interior atmosphere is extremely warm, you will love it.
Enjoy the pretty square that surrounds it and why not the small adjacent streets…
3
The medieval streets of Honfleur
Continue your discovery with a stroll through the narrow cobbled streets…
You can leave from the Sainte Catherine church and explore the surrounding area, rue des Lingots, rue de l'Homme de Bois, rue du Puits, rue des Capucins, names that come to mind as you stroll around...
But be careful, there are small boutiques, art galleries and craft workshops, concept stores, flea markets and tea rooms almost everywhere... you're going to want to go shopping and hang out.
