The ancient Abbey of Grestain, a mecca of the Anglo-Norman Middle Ages, immerses you for a weekend in the period of the Middle Ages, 11th to 15th centuries.

Immerse yourself in the history of the place and go back in time

Companies of historical reenactments invite you to discover daily civilian life (medieval cuisine, tapestry, calligraphy and illumination, coin making, etc.) and military life (presentation of pieces of armor, weapons and professions: men-at-arms, archers, crossbowmen, military musicians) .

Browse the different camps for you exercer et apprehend the know-how elders (stonecutter and leatherworker). Enjoy the atmosphere given by the medieval musicians. Learn about archery or handling weapons. Test le béhourd. Participate as a family in wooden games or exercise your building skills with a building workshop.
