Your itinerary
Step 1
1- Departure from the parking lot in front of the town hall. In addition to your leaflet, you can consult the departure sign in the middle of the park. You also have a picnic table.
Opposite the town hall, follow the D119 for a few meters then turn immediately left towards the forest path. Continue straight on for 900m.
Step 2
2 – Just after the stud farm, at the edge of the forest, turn right. Continue straight ahead along the fence. Follow the yellow markings. At the end of the straight line, head left then right. You leave the forest via a path which adjoins meadows on your left. At the end, you join Chemin Sainte Marie which you keep on the left.
After the next crossroads, you are now in the town of Fourneville and pass near the archaeological site on your left.
Continue this path until you reach the foyer farm. At the farm, turn right to join and take the Chemin du Foyer to the main road (450m).
Step 3
3 – Carefully follow the D119 for 25m to the left then cross it to join the large stones path. At the end, head to the right to follow a dirt road which will take you near the Fourneville washhouse. At the bottom, continue right on the asphalt, as indicated by the directional blade. Continue on the fountain path for 200m. At the dangerous bend, head into the woods (middle path).
At the crow's feet, follow the directional blade and keep to the right to climb slightly for a little over 200m. Go up to the right and join the tarmac (Chemin des parquets). Head to the left then continue straight on until you reach the parquet farm. Then turn right then left. Once you have crossed the prohibition road sign, you go down into the woods. At the bottom, at the crossroads, follow the blade and head to the right.
Step 4
4 – In 250m, you enter the territory of Genneville. Continue straight ahead until the next road prohibition sign. At this crossroads, turn left. Continue straight on until the D277, you will see the orange on your left.
Be careful of vehicles. Cross to the right of the Orange bridge following the directional blade. You take the path to the ford. Cross the small wooden bridge. At the end of the path, opposite the source, turn left for 50m then go up on your right.
At the crossroads, turn right. Back on the asphalt, keep to your left. Always continue straight ahead via Rue du Commerce and reach the village. At the crow's feet, turn right and go down towards the lagoon path. You should have the sewage plant on your left. At the bottom, turn left and climb slightly. Turn right on the road to the wash house for 170m. At the next crossroads, turn left. Keep left to then take the valley path.
Step 5
5 – Back on the tarmac, at the hairpin, continue your hike to the right on the path to the place of the valley. At the end, turn left then right towards Chemin du Maharu. Always continue straight until the next crossroads.
Step 6
6 – DIFFICULT PASSAGE
WARNING: The next section of the circuit is particularly difficult. You will move along a path where walking is slowed down by the presence of numerous flints (100m) due to surface water runoff. If you have good shoes and are not in the presence of children or vulnerable people, continue to the right on the Amiot plank path. Be careful on the descent. Once you have crossed the flints, climb to the right until you meet the small road.
Do not go on the asphalt and turn left along the wooden horse rails. Continue straight then at the next intersection, turn left for 70m. Then turn right, and join the tarmac path of Troussebourg.
Step 7
7 – After 200m, head to the left along the small shaded path.
Continue straight for 600m. You will observe a beautiful pond on your right.
Once on the D277 stud road, turn left and join the D119 at the crossroads.
Take the left. You will observe the St Laurent church on your right. A few more meters straight and you have arrived at the starting point.
