Considered one of the cradles of the Impressionist movement, the medieval city of Honfleur is a must-see in Normandy. Named “the city of painters”, the Normandy port has this unrivaled charm which inspired, inspires and will continue to inspire many artists.

An emblematic place and historical source of inspiration for the pioneers of Impressionism, the luxury hotel announces the opening of an extraordinary exhibition to mark the 150th anniversary of this revolutionary artistic movement. This free celebration invites visitors on a journey through time and art.

Nest of inspiration for legendary artists such as Monet, Boudin, and Jongkind, Ferme Saint Siméon is proud to reconnect with its artistic past by hosting a collection of paintings painted on the estate. Built in a former coaching inn dating from the 15th century and located in the historic heart of the city, this hotel was part of the model landscape of several renowned impressionist painters.
Indeed, on the paintings « Honfleur, La Jetée »  by Eugène Boudin and « Boats in the port of Honfleur » by Claude Monet, we see this bright white building, recognizable among all: the Hôtel Le Cheval Blanc.
