Ambassadors' words: opinions and experiences in Honfleur, Land of the Estuary

I am Johan, I am 30 years old and I am in charge of marketing. Originally from Champagne, and after a few years in Auvergne, I finally settled down more than 5 years ago in the land of apples, Normandy.
Living on the other side of the water (as they say here 😄), coming to Honfleur every day, I feel like I'm going on a trip and not going to work 😅! That's the magic of this Land of the Estuary. The road is so beautiful with the crossing of the majestic Pont de Normandie and the ever-changing colors of the Seine estuary. The landscape and the horizon vary from one day to the next.
Curious about everything and… amazed by nothing, I am passionate about outdoor walks, simple moments, terraces with friends, colleagues or lovers.

➡️Why Honfleur?
What I like about Honfleur is first of all this maze of small alleys who have managed to keep their authenticity over time. A quick stroll down Rue des Petites Boucheries or Rue des Lingots and I find myself disconnected from our times.
Honfleur is also for me a garden city including the Jardin Retrouvé which explodes with color from spring.
A gourmet city par excellence, I don't think I've ever seen such a place anywhere else. concentration and diversity of restaurants. This is something to delight my taste buds, but less so my wallet 😅!
Finally, I appreciate the fact that in Honfleur the Normandy countryside is never far away to leave explore hiking trails in the forest or by the sea.

📱Never without my phone!
During my travels, I never go out without my phone because I like to capture in photos and videos the landscapes and experiences that I live. I then enjoy sharing them on Instagram to highlight our beautiful territory. If someone then tells me that they want to come here thanks to my photos, then it is a great gift for me.

💖 My favorite
My favorite place in Honfleur (or rather my best experience): it's the climb to the Mont-Joli panorama from rue du Puits, especially in spring. Accompanied by the birdsong, I love being able to gain height to contemplate the rooftops of Honfleur and the Normandy bridge in the background. Total disconnection! My goal: to watch the sunrise from the belvedere, but for that I will have to be an early riser 😆
