A graduate of EHESS Master 2 in Social Sciences in Paris and trained at the Ecoles des Arts Appliqués Duperré, Marhiester is passionate about art as a mode of expression conducive to sharing and universal social connections.
The paintings of this artist consist of large structures and geometric shapes of colors, in rapid and energetic strokes. The drawings superimpose architectural elements, like imaginary maps and plans obsessively relating territories conquered or to be conquered.
His vocabulary invites us into a dynamic visual poetry of contemporary landscapes.
On the occasion of an exhibition dedicated to Camille Claudel at the Château de Bois Guilbert, Laurence Rostagnat met Jean-Marc de Pas, sculptor and master of the place. Following this decisive meeting, she took her first steps in this artist's workshop and discovered a real passion for manipulating clay, earthenware or sandstone. To perfect this art, she participates in workshops with Fanny Ferré for modeling, patinas and firings, and with Yves Riguidel for learning anatomy, drawing, painting and making sketches of live models. because that is the subject of his sculptures.
