Between heritage and nature, between estuary and countryside, follow the Estuary Route, from Saint-Sulpice-de-Grimbouville to Honfleur.
The estuary road is a real succession of panoramas! The landscapes are incredible and the views of the estuary are magnificent. Bonus: go as far as the small lighthouse of Saint-Samson-de-la-Roque. You thus enter the territory of the Marais Vernier. The panorama is breathtaking, it embraces the entire Seine estuary for dozens of surrounding kilometers. We promise it’s worth the detour.
Saint-Sulpice-de-Grimbouville and the medieval house
Built by English carpenters at the beginning of the 15th century in a neighboring town, it was moved, because it was threatened with demolition due to its dilapidation. It now houses the town hall of Saint-Sulpice de Grimbouville, which in 1998, to save it, decided to move it to its commune.

Foulbec
Open the door of the Saint-Martin de Foulbec church. Built mid-slope, near a ravine from where the view extends over the Risle valley, it houses a 1800th century framework and a porch decorated with angel heads. In XNUMX, a landslide revealed a sarcophagus, probably that of the founder of the church.

Discover the illustrious character of this commune: Abbot Gilles François Rever de Beauvez (1753-1828), parish priest of the church from 1784 to his death, but also a man of science and letters, teacher, elected politician and major contribution in this Normandy land - creator of the apple variety which bears his name "The Rever apple".

Discover the banks of the Seine in Berville-sur-mer. On the esplanade sits the rowboat "L'Annick" and the old rigging "La fleur des flots" (visible in the old port), they are witnesses to the dynamic past of the port of Berville and its fishermen, nicknamed the " Crablins.”
From the Place des “Voiles de la liberté”, enjoy a panorama of the Seine estuary and an exceptional view of the Normandy Bridge.
