La Cidrerie : "COMME CHEZ TOI" COMÉDIE ROMANTIQUE CHEZ L’HABITANT

The “Ellipses” project carried out by the Compagnie Les Grandes Marées consists of offering four theatrical forms “outside the walls”, based on four texts by different authors, which question the territory. This company was supported in a creative residency during 2023. We are proud to present to you this season the fruit of their work!

COMME CHAZ TOI - ROMANTIC COMEDY IN A HOME (2) BY JULIE MÉNARD

Gabriel comes to perform an open heart operation far from his home. Put in touch by an association helping patients, an unknown person, Anouck takes him in. They will have to share a space, a given time which will turn out to be longer than expected. They do not have the same way of living, of thinking about the world, of voting, they have neither tastes nor points in common. They don't understand each other. It happens. In parallel with this story of unhappy cohabitation another is played out, with the same protagonists: the one which brings their interiority into play. The daily discussions, the banalities exchanged which rub each other against each other and annoy each other, are mixed with the underground thoughts of the characters who gradually reveal that they have a completely different point of view.
