Le Jardin
Discover the Jardin des Personalités, inaugurated in 2004 by Michel Lamarre, mayor of Honfleur and instigator of the project.
Installed on a former mudflat of the estuary, this 10-hectare landscaped space offers a walk to discover garden boats at the center of which stand busts of actors in the historical and cultural heritage of Honfleur.
Among these personalities: the country's gifted children, natives of the small city but also personalities who lived or stayed there, such as Claude Monet, Charles Baudelaire to name just a few...
A very pleasant walk that is both fun and informative…

Who might you meet on your journey through the paths that crisscross the garden?
The painters: Eugène Boudin, Claude Monet, Johan Bartold Jonkind, Léon Leclerc, Alexandre Dubourg
The artists: Erik Satie, Alphonse Allais, Charles Baudelaire, Lucie Delarue Mardrus, the Countess of Aulnoy
The navigators: Binot Lepaulmier de Gonneville, Samuel de Champlain, Jean Doublet, Pierre Berthelot

The Garden is, it is true, a little away from the city center, but that is also why its atmosphere is so calm and relaxing.
To bring this unique place to life, several events are organized there each year.
The Musical Picnic: a day of entertainment for the whole family (in June, from 12 p.m.), organized by the Tourist Office in partnership with the Erik Satie Music School, and the Parents' Association. students of the Music School.
