Our forests in autumn

The spots not to be missed when you stay in Honfleur in autumn! The Bois du Breuil, located in Pennedepie, offers you a stroll in beautiful ocher colors.
More information on the Bois du Breuil
4 km from Honfleur, the Bois du Breuil is one of the rare forests along the coast, open to the public. This 120 ha forest complex is the property of the Conservatoire du Littoral. Rhododendrons, beech avenues and astonishingly shaped trees welcome walkers. A loop of around 5 km offers you beautiful views of the Bay of Seine. Access to the car park is via the RD 62 (Equemauville-Pennedepie).
Outside Honfleur, the Forest of Mont Courel, on the heights of Berville-sur-mer offers you a beautiful view of the Seine estuary, with natural stairs... The ideal place to collect chestnuts or pick mushrooms during a mushroom hike with our specialist Daniel Chesnel!
